Charlottesville, VA – September 16, 2025: Owl Peak Technologies is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Alexander Wesley Scott as a strategic advisor to its team. Dr. Scott is a biomedical engineer and innovation strategist whose distinguished career bridges academic research, advanced medical technology development, and national health innovation.

Dr. Scott currently supports Owl Peak Technologies with a unique combination of scientific expertise, regulatory insight, and translational R&D experience. His advisory role will accelerate the company’s mission of improving early cancer detection through advanced diagnostics.

Dr. Scott earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, following graduate work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a B.S. from Virginia Tech. His academic foundation led to nearly a decade at Baxter International Inc., where he played a pivotal role in leading advanced surgical R&D and commercial initiatives.

In addition to his industry experience, Dr. Scott serves as a Science, Engineering, and Technology Advisor to ARPA–H (Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health), where he helps shape cutting-edge health innovation initiatives at the federal level.

At Owl Peak Technologies, Dr. Scott provides strategic guidance across product development, regulatory planning, and innovation strategy. His experience leading complex medical technology programs and navigating the translational pathway from lab to market aligns directly with Owl Peak’s goals of delivering accessible, effective tools for early cancer screening.
